Chamber of Commerce Director

The Chamber of Commerce Director position is immediately available, for training under the current Director, who is slated to retire in August 2024. The Chamber Director is the first point of contact for members and prospective members who have questions, issues, or concerns. The Chamber Director resolves these or coordinates the resolution with other staff. The Chamber Director also helps to build and sustain the membership through relationship-building with members, prompt response to requests and concerns, and seeking out opportunities to add new members.  Please view the full description here.

White Rock Visitor Center Staff

The White Rock Visitor Center is looking for part-time staff. We are seeking people who love to interact with visitors from all around the world and who would like to become an ambassador for the attractions and businesses located in Los Alamos County.  General knowledge of the Bradbury Science Museum, Los Alamos History Museum, Los Alamos Nature Center, Manhattan Project National Historical Park, Bandelier National Monument, the Valles Caldera, as well as the local business community, is encouraged but not a requirement for either employment or volunteer opportunities.  Light duties include handling cash/credit card sales, and those who apply must be able to pick up a minimum of 30lb boxes.  Employment is an average of 15 hours a week and volunteer opportunities average about 4 hours a week.
